We have custom built an incredible foam core futon mattress with multiple layers of 100 percent linter cotton, high density foam, and special Dacron support layers to create a futon mattress that is priced right, will last forever, and is built for durability and speed. The outer covering is 100 percent cotton muslin, the futon mattress is tufted with an unheard of 15 nylon tufts to prevent content migration and shifting, and best of all, we vacuum package these futon mattresses for easy handling, and ship by UPS.
We’ve been custom engineering futon mattresses since 1994, and for the money, this is the beefiest, most comfortable and durable futon mattress we’ve built. You’ll get long lifespan, and a sumptuous feel, both as a couch and a bed. We put the money into a quality, multi-layered high density foam core that delivers great support, rather than that flat, rock-hard typical futon feel.
Approximate arrival time is about 10-14 days after the day you place your order. While you’re at it, shop around on our site for the ideal futon cover to match. Note: when you receive your futon mattress, remove it from the vacuum packed bag (do not use sharp objects) and your futon will immediately begin to reconstitute as it sucks in the air to reinflate.
Plop the newly opened futon mattress up and down hard several times on your futon frame, (4-5 times, from at least 4 feet in the air) even standing it on edge to drop it on its side several times. This will further allow the futon mattress to “puff up” to its original 9″ factory thickness. Then…enjoy!
