Bamboo grows naturally with no need for agricultural tending, insecticides, herbicides, and fertilizers. Bamboo fabric naturally resists dust mites, is extraordinarily durable. In fact, the more you wash and dry bamboo sheets, the softer and more supple the material becomes.
Our 300 thread count bamboo sheet sets feel more like 1000 thread count satin sheets, due to the technique used to manufacture the bamboo viscose thread. First, bamboo leaves and fiber are crushed and mashed into a pulp, then liquefied. The liquid “bamboo soup”, or viscose, is extruded through spinnerets (much like a spider uses to extrude her fine, yet amazingly strong spider web silk) to create a fiber that is extremely thin, but astonishingly strong.
Bamboo plantations reduce greenhouse gases, since the plants absorb 5 times the amount of carbon dioxide and produces 35 percent more oxygen than an equivalent stand of trees. Growing bamboo improves soil quality and helps rebuild eroded soil. The extensive root system of bamboo holds soil together, prevents soil erosion, and retains water within the watershed of the plantation.
We offer 9 unique, vivid color choices in sets which include one fitted sheet, one flat sheet, and two pillow cases, except in the case of twin and twin long sets, where only one pillow case is provided. Our Bamboo sheet sets have been oversized to allow for shrinkage. Please wash your bamboo sheet sets in warm water. To help reduce wrinkles, put them in the dryer for 5 minutes, then immediately hang them to dry.
